Ms. McLellan joined the firm as Senior Counsel in 2005. Ms. McLellan’s practice includes the representation of institutional clients in various real estate transactions, including commercial office, retail and industrial leasing. She also assists property owners with the negotiation of property management, commercial listing and commission agreements. Prior to working with SSL Law Firm, Ms. McLellan was senior counsel with Danner & Martyn, LLP in Thousand Oaks, California, where she practiced civil and commercial litigation. Before practicing law in California, Ms. McLellan practiced criminal trial defense with the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy. Ms. McLellan was also a JAG officer (captain) in the U.S. Army Reserves where she focused on civil and administrative law and provided legal services for soldiers and their families. Ms. McLellan received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Carolina in 1993, and received her J.D. from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1999, where she was a member of the Student Honor Code Board and Moot Court Team. She is admitted to practice law in California, and is a member of the Real Property Section of the State Bar of California. |
