Mr. Tanabe previously served as Senior Counsel at Marcus & Millichap, a privately-held real estate development company, and Land Acquisitions Manager for Meritage Homes, a publicly traded homebuilder. In addition, Mr. Tanabe was an associate at the law firms of Gray, Cary Ware and Freidenrich (now known as DLA Piper) in Palo Alto, and Hopkins & Carley in San Jose. Mr. Tanabe’s practice covers a variety of real estate matters, including the acquisition and disposition of real property, leasing of real property, financing transactions, and entity formation. Mr. Tanabe also has experience in preparing and negotiating construction contracts, technology licenses, and professional services agreements. Mr. Tanabe received a B.A. from the University of Chicago in 1995 and a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1998. He is admitted to practice in California, New York and New Jersey, and is a member of the Real Estate Section of the State Bar of California. |
