Mr. Ginberg joined the firm as Senior Counsel in 2005. Mr. Ginberg’s practice is primarily focused upon commercial office, retail, and industrial leasing. Mr. Ginberg has handled a wide range of transactions involving full-building and multi-floor leases, build-to suit, multi-use projects, shopping center retail leases and other industrial, office, retail, and research and development leasing, sub-leasing and related transactions. His clients include institutional real property owners, financial institutions, insurance companies, start-up and established technology companies, investors, developers and landlords, tenants and lenders. In addition to individual transactions, Mr. Ginberg has successfully handled and led large scale projects for clients with respect to the acquisition, disposition, leasing, sub-leasing and financing of multiple properties and portfolios. His practice also includes the representation of major wireless carriers in telecommunications leasing, land use matters and other related transactions. Prior to joining SSL Law Firm, Mr. Ginberg served of counsel to Business Law Partners, LLP and as a Senior Associate with Robbins, Palmer and Allen, LLP representing both landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions, purchasers and sellers in acquisitions and dispositions of real property and wireless carriers in telecommunications leasing, land use matters and other related transactions. Prior to relocating to California, Mr. Ginberg was a partner in the firm of Ginberg and Haberman in New York City, practicing in the areas of commercial and residential real estate transactions, civil litigation and bankruptcy. His litigation practice included a particular emphasis on the New York City rent control and rent stabilization laws. Mr. Ginberg received a B.A. degree in Political Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1983 and a J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University in 1986. He is admitted to practice in both California and New York and is a member of the State Bars of California and New York.
